Furniture Art Company designs, manufactures and installs custom counters, display furniture and commercial joinery for shops, offices, restaurants and hospitality venues. We plan each piece around your premises, daily workflow, storage needs and preferred finish.

Plan the fit-out before manufacture
A useful shopfitting brief explains how the space will operate. Tell us what needs to be displayed, stored or served, where staff will work and which equipment the furniture must accommodate. We consider measurements, circulation, access, cabinetry layout, materials and finishes together.
For renovations, identify any furniture to retain and the work that needs to happen while the business remains open. Building work, electrical connections, plumbing, signage and other specialist trades are discussed separately so each party’s responsibilities are clear in the quotation.
From your brief to installation
- Share the project: send your location, business type, photographs, plans and a list of the furniture or joinery required.
- Develop the specification: agree the layout, dimensions, materials, hardware, finish and equipment allowances. Site measurements are confirmed where needed.
- Agree the quotation: review the scope, exclusions, access requirements, delivery, installation and expected programme before production.
- Manufacture and fit: the approved work is manufactured through our Bloemfontein workshop and delivered and installed according to the agreed project scope.

Shopfitting questions
Do you handle small projects as well as larger fit-outs?
Send us the details of the counter, display unit or fitted furniture you need. We assess individual pieces and larger coordinated projects according to scope and workshop availability.
Can you work from an architect’s or designer’s plans?
Plans, drawings and specifications are welcome. We review them with you to clarify the joinery scope, dimensions, material choices and installation responsibilities before quoting.
What determines the cost and lead time?
Size, quantity, construction details, materials, hardware, finish, access and installation all affect cost. Timing also depends on design approval, material availability, workshop scheduling and site readiness. We confirm these for your project.
Do you install in Johannesburg and Pretoria?
Yes. Alongside Bloemfontein and the Free State, we undertake work in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Kimberley and towns along or near these routes. Travel, delivery and fitting arrangements form part of the project discussion. Other areas are considered by special request.
